Champions are made when no one is watching and the stands are empty.
What your team does off the field, court, ice etc is what will help prepare them for a winning season. Teams don’t just become great by putting on matching uniforms. They become great by learning to work together to achieve a common goal. They play together, they practice together and, just as important, they should train together.
Edgewater Fitness Co.’s personal trainers know what it takes to be a high performance athlete. In addition to their health and fitness expertise, they have competed in pro or semi-pro sports. Working with your team, Edgewater Fitness Co. will develop a sport-specific training and nutrition regimen that will improve athletes’ speed, agility, power and endurance.
Edgewater Fitness Co. offers a variety of sport-specific training modules, including the following:
…Alex and I followed the same types of exercise routines to get ready to compete, Alex understands the commitment it takes to be a successful hockey player and what needs to be done to be in peak shape and stay there.
—Calvin De Haan
…I’ve trained with Alex and I have played against him in the net. Getting your body ready is essential. Alex knows how to do that.
I would train with Alex anytime. It’s important to have the proper support while you workout and Alex knows how to do that while pushing you to new limit.

Through our continuous feedback loop, we propose 3 review meetings per season, at the beginning, mid-section and end to review player’s conditioning improvements and take in feedback from the leadership. This will allow to facilitate better results for the players and allow the coaching staff to have a direct hand if desired in shaping the physical conditions as well as provide a vehicle through which coaches can request a certain direction for their team’s training program.
